Battles work in phases. Every phase, you are either required to use an action or input an itemcode (really hope you remember them!). If you can't enter an itemcode/type the wrong one, or select the correct action, you will lose. If you sucseed, you will move on to the next phase. Simple as that. NOW LET'S BATTLE!
